£40 -- Fly to Cologne from London (Return)

With more than a hundred art galleries, a museum dedicated to chocolate and Germany's most visited landmark, Cologne is a great city-break destination -- return fares to this cultural hub are now available for £40 for weekday travel or £45 for weekends, a price drop of around 25%.

Depart from London Stansted on select dates from 14 March-26 June. Flights are with Germanwings and include an 8kg hand luggage allowance. Checked bags are £18 per bag, return.

There is a £7 charge per booking for credit card payments, and no fee for payment by Visa Electron.

Cologne's Gothic cathedral, construction of which started in the 13th century and continued for more than 600 years, is Germany's most visted landmark and was granted UNESCO World Heritage site status in 1996.
